Traveler Day Tour

TOURS CUSTOMIZED TO FIT YOUR NEEDS
ONE DAY OR MORE

Our Jewish India Day Tours offer a unique insider's perspective like no other. Here is an example of what we offer for Mumbai.

“Joshua gave us a great tour of the bustling city of Mumbai, including its Jewish sites. He readily answered our many questions, and imparted his comprehensive knowledge of India in an informative and interesting manner. We were all thrilled with the tour!”
— Diane C., Manhattan

Learn about the rich Jewish history of Mumbai. Listen to the mesmerizing stories of Jews who lived peacefully with their Hindu and Muslim neighbors. The tour begins with a visit to the David Sassoon library, built by the Sassoon family, known as the Rothschilds of the East. Drive past stunning Victorian buildings, including Mumbai University and the Victoria Terminus Railway Station, which was filmed in Slumdog Millionaire.  Marvel at the Dhobi Ghat, a massive outdoor laundry. Visit Shaar Harahamim, the oldest synagogue in the city (1796); Magen David, the first Baghdadi house of worship in Mumbai and the only synagogue with a daily minyan; Tiphereth Israel, one of the city’s most active Jewish centers, and Knesset Eliyahu, built by Jacob Sassoon and painted a beautiful robin’s-egg blue.

Other short tours are also available. Contact us to learn more.

Many companies offer similar tours but ours offers an insider’s perspective. We use licensed Jewish guides who will help you enjoy the feeling of a home away from home.
